Repair Service Terms & Conditions

1. Responsibilities of User:

User understands and agrees that prior to engaging service with Intertech Country to perform any evaluation, diagnostics, repair, upgrade or any other service upon your computer that it is the responsibility of the user (you) to back-up data, software, files or other electronic information stored within a computer hard-drive or other memory device or drive.

If required, Intertech Country can attempt to recover any data for you by means of several methods including use of data  recovery software, this however will not be possible if your hard-drive is damaged or not accessible.

You as the user acknowledge and agree that Intertech Country shall not be responsible under any circumstance for any loss of data, software, corruption of data or damage to hardware or components during or after service.

 2. Software:
It is your responsibility to provide all discs for your computer, these include motherboard system discs, printer discs (if applicable), operating system discs, system recovery discs and/or any other software discs relevant to your computer. If Intertech Country needs to create backup or recovery discs you will be charged for this process. (recovery discs creation is only applicable if your system has this feature installed on your system).

Each manufacturer of computers/laptops have their own specific system disc therefore it is not Intertech Country's responsibility to install any replacement operating system from our software library if you have no recovery discs or operating discs. If one is required to re-install your computers operating system you will be required to purchase a new copy suitable for your system.

 3. Confidentiality:
Intertech Country agrees not to disclose any and all information including user names and passwords and/or data files supplied with, stored on, or recovered from client's equipment except to employees of Intertech Country subject to confidentiality agreements or as required by law.
This includes all media of any description (pornography, confidential emails, software)

 4. Payment:
Payment is due in full upon completion of repair, prior to release of the repaired machine (whether shipped, or picked up), unless by special previous arrangement.

5. Collection Of Repaired Items:
Repaired items not collected by the client (you) within ninety (90) days of completion shall be disposed of or SOLD to defray costs.
Any monies still outstanding to Intertech Country will be charged to the client. Any unrepaired item left at our premises for more than ninety (90) days or that is awaiting repair authorisation from the client will be disposed of within conditions of the trade practices act in order to recover any amounts outstanding or free up limited storage space, all charges will be passed onto you the client. We are not your personal warehouse.
