Web Browsers - Netscape 3 (Mac) Netscape Version 3.01 for Macintosh
is very easy to setup and use. Firstly you should set up your general
preferences. These settings are accessed via the "OPTIONS" menu shown below.
After choosing GENERAL you will be presented with the picture below. The only
setting that you need to add here is Intertech Country Internet's homepage
address - www.icisp.net.au
After filling this in click the OK button to return to the main
Netscape window. Now choose MAIL AND NEWS settings from the OPTIONS menu shown.
Once you have the mail news preferences window open it should look like the
picture below. Make sure you click on the Server tab and use the Customer
Connection Details sheet given with your connection.
To save your mail password, click on the Organisation tab as shown below. Now
place a tick in Remember Mail Password. Now press OK.
Next you must set up the NETWORK preferences. These are also known as "proxy
settings". Again, you choose from the OPTIONS menu shown, then choose NETWORK.
Once you have opened the network preferences match them to the picture below.
