Web Browsers - Netscape 4.x
To configure Netscape 4.5 to 4.7, first select the EDIT menu, then PREFERENCES

This will bring up the Netscape preference where you can modify all settings for Intertech Country Internet.

First set the the homepage to the home page shown on your Customer Connection Details Sheet

To do this, enter it in the Location: field

Next you can setup Netscape to check your mail. To do this, on the left hand side double click on Mail & Newsgroups then click on Mail Servers.

On this window, press the Add button. In the Server name, enter the POP server shown on your Customer Connection Details Sheet, select POP3 Server as the server type, then enter your email address into the username field and press OK.

You can tick the box labelled Remember password, this will make Netscape remember Intertech Country Internet password so you dont have to keep entering it each time you check your mail.

Now you need to configure Netscape to send your mail, to do this, in the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server field, enter the SMTP server shown on your Customer Connection Details Sheet.

Lastly, you need to make sure the proxy settings are correct. To do this, on the left double click on Advanced then from the menu that expands out, click on Proxies. Make sure this is set to Direct Connection to the Internet then press OK

Netscape is now all setup and will work properly with Intertech Country Internet.
