Web Browsers - Netscape 4 (Mac)
In Netscape 4.6 access to the preferences is gained via the "Preferences" button on the toolbar as shown below.

When you open the "Preferences" window in Netscape, move your mouse to the word "Navigator" and click on it to highlight it. Type in the Intertech Country Internet homepage URL in the Homepage Location box as shown.

To set up Netscape to send and receive e-mails you must fill in the preferences below. Your Name refers to Your Name. Email Address refers to the email reply address given on your Customer Connection Details sheet.

Again you must click once on the category Identity. Fill in the boxes below as shown on your Customer Connection Details sheet.

After filling in the Identity settings you then click on the next category which is Mail servers. Fill in the adjacent text fields with the information on your connection details. Your Outgoing Server User Name is your Intertech Country Internet email address.

Next you will need to click on the Add and fill in the Server Name with the POP3 server name found on your Customer Connection Details Sheet. The User Name is the same as your Outgoing Server User Name or your Email User Name.

The picture below shows which box must be ticked to save the password. You can also set the time that Netscape will automatically check for new mail.

Make sure your proxy settings are the same as shown below. It is not necessary to set proxies manually anymore when using Intertech Country Internet services. Simply make sure "Direct connection to the Internet" is dotted as shown below.
