E-mail Software - Netscape 4
In Netscape 4.6 access to the preferences is gained via the "Preferences" button on the toolbar as shown below.

When you open the "Preferences" window in Netscape, move your mouse to the word "Navigator" and click on it to highlight it. Type in the Intertech Country Internet URL in the Homepage Location box as shown on your Customer Connection Details Sheet.

To set up Netscape to send and receive e-mails you must fill in the preferences as shown below. Again you must click once on the category Identity. Fill in the boxes below according to your Customer Connection Details Sheet.

After filling in the Identity settings you then click on the next category which is Mail servers. Fill in the adjacent text fields as shown on your Customer Connection Details Sheet

You will then need to click on the Add button and in the Server Name enter the POP server shown on your Customer Connection Details Sheet. The User Name is your email address. The picture below shows which box must be ticked to save the password. You can also set the time that netscape will automatically check for mail.

Make sure your proxy settings are the same as shown below. It is not necessary to set proxies manually anymore when using Intertech Country Internet service. Simply make sure "Direct connection to the internet" is dotted as shown below.
