Windows 2000 TCP/IP and dialup network settings

Double click on ‘My Computer’	Double Click on ‘Control Panel
Double click on the ‘Network & Dial Up Connection’ icon

Right mouse click on your Intertech Country Internet connection icon, and choose Properties from the shortcut menu

Check the number you're dialling for Internet is correct and matches the number given to you by Intertech Country Internet.Please ensure this is a local call charge for you. Your phone account is separate from your Internet and solely your responsibility.

Next click on the tab called Networking

Ensure you have Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) as the ONLY option ticked. Now click the Properties button

Leave all fields blank and ensure you have the following selections:
Obtain an IP address automatically
Obtain a DNS server address automatically

Press OK until you exit all screens.
