Windows XP adding a new connection
If you have never accessed the Internet on your computer running Windows XP before, you can use the New Connection Wizard to help you get set up. Open the control panel, followed by "Internet Options". Select the "Connections" tab and click "Setup". You should see the following:

Click "Next >". You should see the following:

Select "Connect to the Internet".

Click "Next >". You should see the following:

If you have your Intertech Country setup disk, select "Use the CD I got from an ISP",
otherwise select "Set up my connection manually".

Click "Next >". You should see the following:

Select "Connect using a dial-up modem".

Click "Next >". You should see the following:

ISP Name: Enter a name for your connection (eg "Intertech Country").

Click "Next >". You should see the following:

Phone number: Enter the local dial-in phone number (click here to check your number).

Click "Next >". You should see the following:

User name: Enter your dial-up user name.
Password: Enter your dial-up password.
Confirm password: Re-enter your dial-up password for confirmation.

Click "Next >". You should see the following:

Click "Finish" to finish setting up Windows XP. Due to some settings not being entered during this wizard, click here to check the settings are all correct.
